about ama

ama exists to re-weave the village — the circle of knowledge, presence, and care that every mother deserves. we listen before we curate: to who you are, what you value, and how you want to show up. through a platform that asks who you want to be as a mother before it asks what you want to buy, and tools that coordinate your people around you, while educating them on the choices that today’s mother is faced with. ama gives mothers permission to ask for what they really need, and gives loved ones the resources to re-weave the village.

explore ama

ama brings a gift registry, meal train, and help calendar into one place, to make it easier for families to ask for what they need in a tender season of life. be it postpartum, a first birthday, welcoming a new baby, or grieving a loss — our goal is to provide a platform for families to discover, explore, learn, share, and grow.

Alexandra, Andrew, Joaquin, and Amalia

our founder

in 2022, alexandra and her husband andrew welcomed their first baby, joaquin, with the help of midwives and a doula at hoag hospital.

a few years later, in 2025, baby sister amalia joined the family — born at home with the help of an incredible midwife, and alexandra’s mother and husband.

through this time, alexandra learned the importance of prenatal and post-natal nutrition, nervous system balance, gut health, and how oftentimes, less is more when it comes to parenting.

it is through this lens that alexandra seeks to create a platform for parents to discover and share what matters to them.
